Proud to Rep the Orange Nation!
Hey everyone! I’m Jessie and I’ll be representing the Syracuse Orange on here this tournament.
I was born bleeding Orange. My dad is from Syracuse (I grew up in Rochester) and our family has had season tickets for over 50 years. That said, Syracuse basketball is just a way of life.
I graduated from Syracuse in 2010 with a B.S. in magazine journalism and loved living amongst the players. As a proud alum, I love catching the games in New York City with my friends, and attending games (went to 9 this season!) while I can (R.I.P Big East).
I’m truly lucky to share my Cuse hoops obsession with both my family and my best friends.
Some of my favorite Cuse basketball memories/players include:
-John Wallace
-Preston Shumpert
-Winning the National Championship in 2003
-GMac
-Storming the court after we beat UConn in 2007
-The 6 OT Big East victory over UConn
-Joining 34,615 other fans to BEAT NOVA in 2010 for College Game Day
-Beating Georgetown during the Big East tournament last week. (See photo below of me and my dad at the Big East Tournament last week.)
Soon to add to the list: Beating Montana during the first round of the NCAA tournament!
